Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AY Custom Songs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the custom songs we create for you. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Placing an order

When you complete our survey and check out, you’re asking us to write and produce an original song based on the story, names, and details you provide. Please make sure the information you submit is accurate — we write directly from what you tell us.

Editing your details before production

You have 24 hours after checkout to correct any information you submitted — names, dates, spelling, or other details — free of charge. Use the “Review or Edit Survey” link on your checkout confirmation, or email us directly. After this 24-hour window, your order enters production and further corrections are handled through our revision policy below.

Packages, pricing & delivery

You choose a delivery package at checkout. Prices are shown in USD and charged in full at the time of purchase.

• Standard — $79, delivery within 7 days, 1 revision included.
• Priority — $99, delivery within 4 days, 1 revision included.
• Express — $149, delivery within 2 days, 2 revisions included.

All three are framed as delivery within that number of days, not delivery exactly on that day — if we finish early, we send it early. Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees, and can occasionally run longer during high-demand periods — for example around the winter holidays — we’ll email you if that happens. Package prices are subject to change, but the price you pay at checkout is the price for your order.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Revisions

Every order includes revisions after delivery: 1 revision on the Standard and Priority packages, and 2 revisions on Express.

• What counts as a revision: a genuine error — for example a misspelled name, a wrong date, or another factual detail in the finished song that doesn’t match what you told us in your survey.
• What doesn’t: requesting a different song entirely — a different genre, melody, structure, or story concept. We’re not able to rewrite your song into something else; revisions correct mistakes, they don’t start over.
• How to request one: reply to your delivery email, or contact us at hello@aycustomsongs.com, within 14 days of delivery, describing exactly what needs correcting.

We don’t offer refunds for change of preference once a song has been produced correctly to the details you provided — see “Content we won’t produce” below for the one case where a refund does apply.

How you can use your song

Once delivered, your song is yours to keep, play, and share. You’re welcome to post it on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or any other personal social media account, include it in a wedding or event video, or send it directly to family and friends — no permission needed, and no extra fee.

What’s not included:

• Selling, licensing, or re-distributing the song itself
• Using it in someone else’s paid advertising or marketing
• Public performance for profit, or use in monetized content where the song itself is the product being sold
• Claiming you personally wrote or produced the song

If you’d like to use your song commercially beyond personal sharing, contact us — we’re often able to agree to that separately in writing.

Content we won’t produce

We reserve the right to decline or cancel — with a full refund — any order that requests illegal content, hate speech, harassment of a real person, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
