This Privacy Policy explains what information AY Custom Songs collects when you use our site or place an order, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you fill out our survey and check out, we collect:

Your email address
The story details you share — recipient name, relationship, qualities, memories, and any personal message
Your song preferences (genre, voice)
Order and payment status (payment itself is handled entirely by Stripe — we don’t collect or store your card details)

How we use it

We use the information you provide solely to:

Write and produce your custom song
Email you your finished song and order updates
Look up your order when you use our Track Order page
Improve our service and respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the service providers we use to run AY Custom Songs and fulfill your order:

Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your full card details.
Third-party AI music-generation and production tools help us compose and produce your song. This means the story details, names, and preferences you submit — your recipient’s name, the memories you share, your personal message — are processed by these tools as part of turning your story into music. We select providers under terms that restrict them from using your submissions for anything beyond producing your song.
Email and hosting infrastructure (for example our email delivery provider and database host) store your order and contact details so we can deliver your song and support you.

We don’t share your story details with anyone beyond what’s needed to write, produce, and deliver your song.

Note to site owner: name your specific AI music-generation vendor(s) here once finalized, and confirm their data-use terms match this description before launch.

How long we keep it

We keep order records so we can fulfill your order and respond if you contact us about it later. If you’d like your data deleted, email us and we’ll remove it, except where we’re required to keep records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@aycustomsongs.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
